Same thing happened to me. Yahoo security (just a general email under customer help) will not help you get back the ID unless you can type inthe same info you used to set up the acct. I know..it sucks but unless you can remember it they won’t help you much.

Create a new ID (different name & password) AND WRITE THEM DOWN THIS TIME then you won’t forget.
Under no circumstances give anyone your password! OK?
